Our elementary school holds an annual Colonial Day - and what would that be without feasting? Here's our menu - it serves about 115 kids and 30 grownups.

• Potato Soup (3 large crockpots)

• Turkey with gravy, 7-8 lb. breast (7 turkey breasts)
• Ham (3 pans, sliced)

• Stuffing (5 large pans)
• Corn (2 6lb. cans)
• Creamed Peas (1 crockpot)
• Baked Beans (3 crockpots) Try
  Sweet & Sour Baked Beans or Kick-it-up-a-notch Baked Beans
• Fruit trays (3 large)
• Cranberry Relish (1/2 recipe and 2 cans of the jelly kind.) Try
  Kim's Cranberry Chutney or Fruited Cranberry Relish

• Blueberry Mini Muffins (4 batches, or 12 doz. muffins)
• Corn Mini Muffins (6 batches, or 36 doz. muffins) These are a real big hit, as you can see.
• Pumpkin Bread (8 loaves, 4 batches)
• Apple Crisp (4 batches) Try
  Abigail's Apple Crisp or Colonial Day Apple Crisp
• Molasses Cookies (5 batches, or 15 doz. cookies)
• Snickerdoodles (6 batches, or 30 doz. cookies)

• 14 2L bottles of ginger ale
• 14 2L bottles of root beer
• 2 gal. apple juice
• 2 1/2 gal. water
