2 c. (0.5 L) Bisquick baking mix
2 Tbsp. (30 ml) vegetable oil
1 1/3 c. (0.3 L) milk
1 egg
Directions:
Quick waffles for a yummy Sunday brunch. Bisquick is a "quick-mix" combining flour, leavening, sugar, and salt. I transfer mine from the box into a canister to keep it fresh...but then I can't remember how many eggs? How much milk?
Yield: 12 4-inch waffles
In a large bowl, measure out the Bisquick. Break an egg into the bowl, then add the milk and oil. Stir with a whisk until just combined. Overbeating the batter makes tough waffles.
Pour into the center of a preheated waffle iron. It's done when the waffle iron stops steaming. Serve with butter and syrup.
