Gluten Free Thick-Crust Pizza Dough More Recipes Like This


Ingredients: Metric Units
1 c. potato starch flour
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. tapioca flour
1/2 c. dry milk powder
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. water
Directions:
Gluten Free doesn't mean pizza free! It's pizza night...

In a large bowl, combine potato starch flour, cornstarch, tapioca flour, milk powder, baking powder, salt.

Cut shortening into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal (little tiny balls).

Add water and stir until the dough forms a ball. Cut into 2 equal pieces.

Grease the pizza pan. Cover it with plastic wrap and press one dough ball out into pizza-shape, 1/4 inch (.64cm) thick in the middle and a bit thicker on the edges. (Repeat with the other ball.) Remove plastic wrap. Top with your favorite pizza toppings. Bake at 400F for 20 minutes.
