1 lb. ground turkey
1 29oz. can tomato puree
1 3oz. can tomato paste
3 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. Greek seasoning (get it from Penzey's
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 lb. rigatoni
2 Tbsp. feta cheese crumbles per portion
Directions:
Send Pasta Bolognese on a Grecian holiday with this pasta dish inspired by the flavors of Greece.
Spray a large skillet with nonstick spray.
Brown turkey. When the turkey is no longer pink, mince garlic and add to pan. Stir in tomato paste. Add tomato puree.
Add lemon juice, Greek seasoning, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt. Reduce heat to simmer 30 min. to allow flavors to combine.
While sauce is simmering, bring water to a boil in a large pot. Cook rigatoni according to package directions. Drain.
Top each plate of pasta with sauce and crumble feta cheese on top.
