Chocolate Pound Cake

1 c. butter
4 oz. semisweet chocolate
1 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
Comes together quickly and baked in a bundt pan, it's a nice presentation for a potluck supper.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large microwave safe bowl, break chocolate. Add butter. Melt chocolate and butter in microwave, heating in 30 second increments. Stir after each heating.
In a medium bowl, sift together baking powder, flour, sugar.
Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl, waiting to mix until all ingredients have been added. Add eggs, vanilla, milk, dry ingredients.
Beat batter until smooth.
Prepare a bundt pan by spraying well with nonstick spray.
Bake 40 min. at 350°F.
Remove from pan and cover immediately. (It's supposed to create its own moist glaze. We'll have to give this one another shot.)
