Take two slices of bread. Roll with a rolling pin until quite thin. (Or, if you're using your own bread, slice bread very thinly.)
Place bottom slice onto quesadilla maker. Top with a little shredded cheese (not very much!). Top with second slice of bread. Close quesadilla maker. Let cook until golden brown and cheese is all melty.
