Crockpot Pot Roast More Recipes Like This


Ingredients: Metric Units
2-3 lb. beef chuck roast
1 Tbsp. oil
2 med. carrots, chopped
2 ribs celery, sliced
1 med. onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
1 14oz. can stewed tomatoes
1 6oz. can tomato paste
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf

Directions:
A delicious dinner recipe for your slow-cooker. Serve with noodles.

In a large skillet, heat oil. Brown roast in oil until browned on all sides. Place in crock of slow cooker or crockpot.

In a small bowl, combine tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, salt, pepper, bay leaf. Pour over meat.

Cover. Cook on
Low: 10-12 hours
High: 5-6 hours

(Be sure to discard bay leaf.) Serve over hot noodles.
