Chocolate Chip Cheesecake More Recipes Like This

Ingredients: Metric Units
Base
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. cocoa

Cheesecake Layer
4 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. mini chocolate chips
Directions:
This rich cheesecake has a chocolate-y graham crust and is dotted with little chocolate chips. Dedicated to Grandma Moritz.

Preheat oven to 300F.

Make the base
In a ziplock bag, crush graham crackers using a rolling pin. (A great stress reliever!)

In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter, cinnamon, vanilla extract and cocoa.

Spray a 9-inch springform pan with nonstick spray. Press graham cracker crumb mixture into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the pan.

Prepare the cheesecake
In the mixing bowl of an electric mixer cream 4 packages of cream cheese. (4 packages of cream cheese is just too much for a hand mixer. Or at least my hand mixer.)

Add sugar and vanilla. Beat in sour cream.

Add eggs one at a time. Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour batter into prepared springform pan. Bake at 300F for 1 hour 15 min., or until the center is set.
