1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
One 8-oz. can crushed pineapple
One 8-oz. can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 or 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, to taste
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
4 haburger buns, split and toasted

Note: Clipped from the Hartford Courant Food section. I waffle back and forth between really wanting to try this recipe and really being grossed out by the thought of this recipe. Perhaps now that I have typed it out, I will try it and let you all know what I think. ;-)
-Brown beef with onion. Drain pan drippings.
-To beef mixture, add undrained pineapple, tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and salt. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes or until sauce thickens.
-Spoon generously over 4 halves of hamburger buns. Top with remaining buns. Makes 4 servings. Enjoy! -Diana
