Frosted Italian Cookies More Recipes Like This

Ingredients: Metric Units
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla or lemon extract
6 cups all-purpose flour, divided
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups sour cream
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter, sugar and eggs with beater. Add flavoring and 4 cups flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Mix well. Add sour cream and beat well with an electric mixer. Add remaining 2 cups flour and beat with a wooden spoon. Drop with a teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Frost when cool.

1/4 cup scalded milk
Confectioner's sugar
Food coloring of your choice
-Combine ingredients to desired spreading consistency.
