Hot Bean Dip


Ingredients:
2 c. canned pinto beans, rinsed, drained 1/2 sm. red onion, minced 4 lg. cloves fresh garlic 1/4 c. low-fat barbecue sauce 1 Tbsp. tomato paste 2 tsp. minced jalepeƱos 1 tsp. chili powder salt & pepper to taste 2 tsp. shredded mozarella cheese
Directions:
Process beans, onion, garlic, barbecue sauce, tomato paste, jalapeƱos, chili powder, salt & pepper in blender until blended. Place in heavy saucepan. Cover and heat slowly over low heat, until bubbling, 10 - 15 min. Spoon into serving dish. Sprinkle cheese over top. Serve immediately. Makes about 2 c.
