What to do with that not-quite-finished beer? A Hostetler Family Recipe for a great way to make a rich crusty bread.(Ann is a long-time family friend. Her daughter taught me the rules of Monopoly. Sort of. They all seemed to involve me handing over money...but that's another story.)
Yield: 1 loaf
Preheat oven to 350°.
Mix flour and sugar. Add beer, mix well. Turn into well-greased loaf pan. Bake at 350°F until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Serve toasted with butter.
