2 cups self-rising flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
10 oz. (1 1/4 cup) beer

(Ann is a long-time family friend. Her daughter taught me the rules of Monopoly. Sort of. They all seemed to involve me handing over money...but that's another story.)
Mix flour and sugar. Add beer, mix well. Turn into well-greased loaf pan. Bake at 350°F until golden brown, or about 30 minutes.
