Rum Raisin Ice Cream I More Recipes Like This

Ingredients: Metric Units
3/4 c raisins
1/2 c rum
1 c milk
3 eggs
1/2 c sugar
2 c whipping cream
In a small glass bol, combine raisins and rum. Cover, let stand 3 hrs. In a saucepan, over medium heat, heat milk until hot. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar. Whisking constantly, gradually add hot milk to egg. Return mixture to saucepan over medium heat. Stirring constantly, cook until slightly thickened, about 8 min. Stir in cream. Chill thoroughly. Freeze in ice cream freezer. Add rum raisins through feeder hole halfway through freezing process.
