Ingredients: Metric Units
2 c broth/water
2 Tbsp butter
salt, pepper
1 egg
1 c kasha
sauteed onions, vegies
Cooked bowtie noodles?
broth, butter, slat, pepper, to boiling. Lightly beat 1 egg, add kasha to egg, stir to coat kernels. Add coated kasha to pan. Cook over hi 2-3 min until egg dried, kernels separate. Lower heat, quickly stir in boiling liquid. Cover tightly simmer 710 min. Makes 4 cups. Add sauteed onions, veggies to make a pilaf. Or add cooked bowtie noodles for kasha varnishkes.
