Vietnamese Soup recipes

Ingredients: Metric Units
1/2 lb boneless pork loin
2 Tbsp Nam Pla (fish sauce)
2 Tbsp cooking oil
1 1/2 c pineapple, peeled, cored, chopped
2 tomatoes, in thin wedges
2 lg shallots, thinly sliced
1/4 c minced cilantro
Directions:
Thinly slice pork across grain. Combine pork with 4 tsp of nam pla. Marinate 15min. Heat oil over hi heat. Add pork, pineapple, tomatoes, shallots, saute 2 min. Add 5 c water, bring to boil. Add remaining nam pla, coriander leaves. Taste, add salt if desired. Remove from heat and serve at once.
