Kim Chee (Korean Chili Pickled Cabbage) More Recipes Like This

Korean Side recipes

Ingredients: Metric Units
2 lb Chinese cabbage
1 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp chopped grn onion
2 tsp crushed garlic
1 Tbsp chili pdr
2 tsp finel chopped fresh ginger
1/2 c lt soy sauce
1/2 c white vinegar
2 tsp sugar
sesame oil
Directions:
Chop cabbage coarsely, place in glass dish. Sprinkle with salt, let stand for 3-4 hrs. Mash until still softer. Drain off excess liquid, add remaining ingred, exc sesame oil. Transfer to a large jar, seal, leave in cool plce at least 24 hrs before using. Sprinkle with a few drops of sesame oil before using.
