1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/8 c. milk
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar

Melt butter over low heat. Stir in brown sugar. Continue to heat until bubbly. Remove from heat. Add milk, beat vigorously until smooth. Add powdered sugar and beat until just of spreading consistency. Frost cake immediately - this icing quickly solidifies and becomes difficult to spread. Makes just enough frosting for a 9x13 cake.
