1 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 envelope ranch dressing dry mix
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 packages (10 oz. each) pretzel sticks
A fun gift from the kitchen. Great for the diabetic on your list, or anyone watching their sugar intake. Or a nice addition to the Christmas Party table.
Yield: 3 1/2 quarts
In a small bowl, combine oil, dressing mix, garlic salt and cayenne. Divide pretzels between 2 UNgreased 15" x 10" x 1" baking pans (jellyroll).
Pour oil mix over pretzels; stir to coat. Bake at 200 degrees F for 1 hour 15 minutes to one hour 30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
Cool completely. Store in airtight container.
The longer they sit, the more kick you'll get from the spicy!
