3/4 c chopped peanuts
1/4 c toasted sesame seeds
1/2 c brown sugar
36 wonton wrappers
2 Tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in
3 Tbsp water
2 c canola oil for deep-fat frying
Directions:
Combine peanuts, sesame seeds & sugar in sm bowl; set aside. If using sq wrappers, cut circles from wrappers w/biscuit cutter; discard trimmings. Or, use wrappers as is. Cvr circles or wrappers w/damp cloth to prevent drying when not in use. Place heaping tsp of peanut mixt in ctr of ea circle. Brush cornstarch soln along edges. Fold in half, press edges to seal. Heat oil in wok/lg deep skillet til v hot. Add dumpl 1 or 2 at a time. Turn 1x(til golden brown, about 30 sec per side). Drain on paper towels, serve warm.
