Cherokee Pie


Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. olive oil 1 pound ground beef 3/4 cup chopped onion 1/8 tsp. thyme 1 bay leaf 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 pound can stewed tomatoes 1 cup uncooked instant rice green olives and sliced American cheese
Directions:
Saute' onion in oil. Brown meat in sauteed onion. Add thyme, bay leaf, soup, tomatoes and rice. Pour into a 9x13 baking pan. Cut cheese diagonally into triangles and place on top. Add sliced olives. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy! -Diana
