Things I Found in the Kitchen - Beef More Recipes Like This

Ingredients: Metric Units
1 pound (or whatever you have) ground beef, or stew meat, or steak, or other beef
1 can Italian stewed tomatoes
1 onion, sliced
1 green, red or other colored pepper, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
8 oz. wide egg noodles
2 mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbsp. butter,margarine, olive oil or other vegetable oil
Parmesan Cheese

Heat butter in a large heavy frying pan. Sautee the mushrooms and garlic in the butter for 2 minutes or so, then transfer to a small bowl. Boil some water in a large pot and cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, brown the beef in the pan on medium heat, adding the onion after a couple of minutes. When the noodles are done, drain and add to the frying pan with the beef along with the can of stewed tomatoes, the pepper, and the mushrooms/garlic. Simmer for about 7-10 minutes or 'til nice and hot. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy! -Diana
