Budget Condiments Recipes

Ingredients: Metric Units
1 tsp. (5 ml) salt
1/4 tsp. (1 ml) dry mustard
smidgen of cayenne pepper
1 tsp. (5 ml) sugar
1 Tbsp. (15 ml) lemon juice
1 Tbsp. (15 ml) vinegar
1 egg, unbeaten
1 cup (0.2 L) mild olive oil or other salad oil
Directions:
Add lemon juice and vinegar to dry ingredients; mix. Add the egg and 1/3 of the oil; beat with a hand mixer until the mixture begins to thicken. Add another 1/3 cup (79 ml) of the oil, beat for a minute, then add the rest of the oil and beat one minute more. Enjoy! -Diana
