2 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp flour
1 1/3 c milk
dash pepper
1 1/2 c cubed cooked chicken
2 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
salt to taste
Directions:
Melt butter in a skillet and add flour to make a roux.
Gradually add milk (substitute part cream for some of the milk for a creamier, richer dish).
Add pepper, chicken, lemon juice, salt.
Serve over noodles or over biscuits.
A kid-crowd pleaser, and a happy ending for leftover chicken.
