Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff More Recipes Like This

Budget Dinner Recipes

Ingredients: Metric Units
1 1/2 cups (0.4 L) wide egg noodles
1 pound (0.5 kg) ground beef
1/2 cup (119 ml) finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp. (30 ml) flour
1/2 cup (119 ml) water
one 4-oz. can mushroom stems and pieces, undrained
1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml) salt
1/4 tsp. (1 ml) pepper
1 cup (0.2 L) sour cream
Directions:
Cook egg noodles according to the directions on the package.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion; drain off the fat.

Stir flour into the ground beef mix. Add water, mushrooms, salt and pepper.

Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Reduce heat; stir in sour cream. Serve sauce over cooked noodles. Serves 4. Enjoy! -Diana
