Sweet and Sour Meatballs

2 lb. ground beef 2 Tbsp. soy sauce 2 eggs 2 Tbsp. onion 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. bread crumbs 1/3 c. fresh parsley 1/3 c. ketchup Sauce 1 can whole cranberries 1 12 oz. jar chili sauce 1/8 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. lemon juice

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, soy sauce, eggs, pepper, bread crumbs. Chop parsley and add to beef mixture. Grate onion finely and add to beef mixture. Shape meat into bite-sized meatballs. Place meatballs into a 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until meatballs are done through. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, chili sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes to allow flavors to combine. (Alternately, if you don't fancy making your own sauce, pick up a bottle of prepared sweet and sour sauce in the "Ethnic Aisle" of your local grocery store.) Combine meatballs and sauce. (Or serve alongside as a dipping sauce if you've got fussy customers.) Set out with plenty of toothpicks - these just disappear! (Even little Princess Lives-on-Air ate half a dozen! Her brothers gave it two thumbs up. All comers loved the whole toothpick thing.)
