3 lb. ground round (ground beef)
1 large can kidney beans
1 small can kidney beans
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
2 sweet peppers
1 large onion
1 Tbsp chili powder
water to correct consistency
A chili recipe for folks who like a mild chili.
In a large skillet brown ground beef.
Dice onion, add to beef and saute until onion is transparent.
Transfer onion and beef to a large stockpot. Stir in kidney beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce. Heat over medium heat.
Dice potatoes. Add to stockpot.
Seed peppers and cut into bite-sized pieces. Add to stockpot.
Add chili powder. Add water if it's gotten too thick. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
