No-Guilt Brownies More Recipes Like This


Ingredients: Metric Units
1 c whole wheat flour
1/2 c wheat germ
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 c apple juice concentrate
1/2 c butter
6 Tbsp cocoa
1/2 c lowfat buttermilk
1 whole egg
2 egg whites
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions:
Combine flour, wheat germ, baking soda. In a saucepan, combine juice concentrate, butter, cocoa. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Add to dry ingredients, beat until smooth. Add buttermilk, egg, egg whites, and vanilla, beat until just mixed. Fold in walnuts. Pour batter into a floured & greased 15X10 jellyroll pan. Bake @ 350 about 20-25 min.
