1 lb. scallops
2 tsp. chopped green onion or shallots
6 Tbsp. butter (no substitutes!)
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. chopped FRESH parsley

Editor's Note: For those not from New England, the North Shore is north of Boston - you know, Marblehead, Salem, Beverly, Magnolia, Gloucester/Rockport. Route 1A to Rt. 127. Where only the finest seafood is found!
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Wash scallops. Place in buttered individual casserole dishes (2-4).
In a small skillet, sauté shallots in 2 Tbsp. butter until soft. Distribute evenly over scallops.
Melt remaining butter; add lemon juice. Pour over scallops. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Bake at 375°F for 12-15 minutes. Garnish with parsley. Enjoy! -Diana
