1 cup warm water
1 pkg. yeast
2.75 cups flour, Divided
2 Tbsp. soft butter or margarine
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1.25 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Directions:
In a bowl, let warm water and yeast combine and sit for 5 mins.
Add to the yeast mix 1.5 cups flour, the butter, the salt and the sugar.
Knead in 1.25 cups (the rest of the) flour and the cheddar.
Allow to rise until double. Shape into pretzels. Let rise a bit, then brush pretzels with cold water. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 mins. Enjoy! -Diana
