2 cups of granulated sugar
1 cup of water
2 cups lemon juice (fresh squeezed if you can!)
1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
Directions:
In a medium saucepan over low heat, cook and stir sugar and water until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice. Pour into a shallow freezer container Freeze for 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes (set a timer!) or until mixture becomes slushy. Spoon into serving cups and sprinkle with lemon peel. Serves 6.
