2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. sweet rice flour
3/4 c. chicken stock
2 c. milk or your milk substitute of choice
3/4 c. grated cheese
salt, paprika to taste
Directions:
A gluten-free cheese sauce - no longer need broccoli be bare!
In a saucepan, saute the onion in the butter until clear. Stir in the rice flour to make a roux.
Add stock slowly, stirring to keep the mixture smooth. Bring to a boil, then add the milk. Don't allow to return to the boil, add grated cheese.
