1 lb. ground meat
1/2 - 3/4 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 26oz. jar pasta sauce
rolls for meatball sandwiches
Directions:
Great for a busy evening or a party, start these early and just let them perk until you're ready.
In a medium bowl, combine ground meat, bread crumbs, egg, and Italian seasoning. Form into small meatballs.
Spray a large skillet with nonstick spray. Heat skillet over high heat. Add meatballs to skillet in a single layer. (Meatballs shouldn't touch each other.) When browned all the way around, transfer to a slow cooker.
Pour sauce over meatballs. Set cooker on low and go do your thing. The meatballs will be ready for sandwiches whenever you are.
Serve as meatball sandwiches: in rolls topped with parmesan or romano cheese.
