Make it Taco Tuesday at your house this week. Fun, healthy, messy...always a hit at our house.
Yield: serves 4-6
In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Once the beef is browned through, add the seasoning packet. (Add however much water it calls for on the packet.)
Heat the taco shells in the oven. (If you MUST heat them in a toaster oven, make sure the taco shells don't touch the heating element. Those puppies will catch on fire and burn a treat.)
Prepare toppings - setting in bowls: tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, salsa, beans, whatever you like on your taco.
Grab a hot shell, careful not to burn your fingers. Add meat. Top with cheese, then whatever else you like. Let everyone build their own.
