LIEBLER FAMILY Note: Found handwritten in a Gold Medal Flour notebook hand-dated "Spring of 1929." Written as found. I think that the butter size is about 2 Tbsp. I will make this cake in the near future and will edit recipe if needed.
Directions:
1 1/2 cups gran. sugar
1/2 " milk
Butter 1/2 size of an egg.
Boil slowly 10 minutes. Stir until thick enough to put on cake.
