Banana Split Dessert


Ingredients:
2 c. graham cracker crumbs 6 Tbsp. butter, melted 2 c. powdered sugar (confectioner's sugar, 10X) 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs (or use 1/2 c. Egg Beaters) 1 tsp. vanilla 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained 3 large bananas, sliced 1 large container of Cool Whip 1/2 c. pecans, chopped 1/2 c. maraschino cherries, drained, chopped

Tapped for dessert for a Memorial Day picnic? Grab your spoons everyone! You will need: Time. Dish chills 3 hours or overnight. Note: Eggs can sometimes carry salmonella. Use a pasteurized egg substitute to avoid salmonella risk - and avoid the cholesterol too! Yield: 18 servings Combine crumbs with melted butter and press into bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. In a medium bowl, beat together the powdered sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Spread onto crumbs. If you have concerns about the eggs in your area carrying salmonella, please substitute a pasteurized egg substitute instead. Place rows of sliced bananas on top of buttercream layer. Top with crushed pineapple. Cover with Cool Whip. Top with pecans, cherries. Chill 3 hours or overnight.
