2/3 c. Bisquick baking mix
3 Tbsp. milk
Directions:
Bisquick is a "quick-mix" combining flour, leavening, sugar, and salt. I transfer mine from the box into a canister to keep it fresh...but then I can't remember how much milk? Easy dumplings to transform a weeknight stew into a hearty meal.
Stir mix and milk together to create a soft dough.
Drop spoonfuls of batter onto simmering stew. Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 more minutes. (Dumplings will puff up. Remember Paddington Bear's sticky example and have faith that the batter will be enough.)
