In a large bowl, place the squares of chocolate. Melt in the microwave for 1 min. Stir vigorously. If the chocolate is not melted, microwave for additional 30 sec. intervals until chocolate is completely melted. Stir vigorously after each interval.
Beat in powdered sugar and butter. Add vanilla and gradually add milk.
Enough to frost a 2-layer cake or a batch of cupcakes or a 9x13 rectangular cake.
Use any leftover frosting between graham crackers for a quick treat.
