Bacon & Cheese Thin Spaghetti

Ingredients:
8 oz. IGA® thin spaghetti (guess what box recipe I was inspired by!), uncooked 3/4 pound IGA® bacon (hmm, a theme...), cut into 1-inch pieces 1 med. onion, cut into 8 wedges and separated 1 tsp. fresh garlic, minced 8 oz. IGA®(know where I shop yet?) Mozzarella Cheese, shredded 1/4 cup chopped basil 1/2 cup grated Romano Cheese (what, not IGA®?!) 1/4 tsp. coarsely grated IGA® ground pepper
Directions:
This filling, low-budget dinner comes together quickly; a nice change if you're in a rut of "spaghetti in red sauce." Sometimes the recipe on the box is worth reading! And I'm fairly certain that your own favorite brand of...spaghetti/bacon/cheese/pepper...would work out just as deliciously. Yield: 6 servings for hungry people Cook IGA® (Laughing by now!) Thin Spaghetti according to package instruction; drain and set aside. In a skillet over medium high heat, cook bacon, onion and garlic, stirring occasionally until onion is soft and bacon is crisp (8-10 mins). Drain off grease. Place spaghetti into serving dish. Toss cooked spaghetti with Mozzarella cheese and basil; gently toss with bacon mixture. Sprinkle with Romano cheese and pepper. Serve at once. Enjoy! -Diana
