1/2 c. popcorn
4 Tbsp. sugar
4 Tbsp. cooking oil
salt to taste
You will need:
old fashioned cranked popcorn popper
Directions:
An addictive crunchy-sweet snack, popcorn with a very light crunchy sweet coating of sugar. "I just don't know why I can't stop eating this stuff!" Note: You will need an old fashioned cranked popcorn popper for this recipe.
In the popper, place oil, sugar, and popcorn. Shake to coat the popcorn with oil and sugar.
Heat popper over high heat. Be sure to crank as soon as you hear popping. Remove from heat as soon as there's enough popcorn that it gets hard to turn the crank - or popcorn stops popping.
Pour immediately into a large bowl. Be careful not to burn your tongue!
Salt if desired.
