2 lb. cranberries
2 lg. oranges
6 Winesap apples
4 c. sugar

Note: A make-ahead recipe: this improves upon standing.
Several days prior to serving, wash and sort cranberries. Quarter and seed unpeeled apples and oranges. Put fruit through the medium blade of a meat grinder (or chop coarsely with a food processor or blender). Stir in sugar. Place in a container. Cover and refrigerate at least a few days or up to a week.
