Cool Weather Caramels


Ingredients:
LIEBLER FAMILY 1/2 cup white corn syrup 1 cup granulated sugar 1.5 cups brown sugar 1/3 cup butter 1/2 cup strained honey 1 cup cream 1 cup heavy cream 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
Combine syrup, sugar, butter, honey, cream and bring to a boil. Add heavy cream, and cook to a soft ball stage when tested in cold water. Necessary to stir constantly. Remove from fire, add vanilla extract. Pour 1/2 inch thick into buttered pans. Cut into small squares and wrap each caramel in waxed paper. Enjoy! -Diana
