LIEBLER FAMILY Note: Found handwritten in a Gold Medal Flour notebook hand-dated "Spring of 1929." Written as found. I will test in the near future and will edit recipe accordingly.
1 cup sugar
1/2 " shortening
1/2 " sour milk
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/2 teasp soda
1 " vanilla
1/2 cup cocoanut
Directions:
Drop by spoonfuls on well greased pans

PS - I think that this recipe was incomplete, so....
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. (wink)
