Cinnamon Flop


Ingredients:
1 Heaping Tbsp. soft butter 1 cup sugar 2 cups flour pinch of salt 2 tsp. baking powder pinch allspice 1 cup milk 1/4 cup dark-brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 Tbsp. batter
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Cream the butter and add the sugar. Sift together and add the flour, salt, baking powder and allspice alternately with the milk. Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Combine the brown sugar, the cinnamon and the nutmeg, and sprinkle over the top. Dot with the butter. Poke the butter down into the batter with a knife or with a pinky finger. Bake about 25 minutes. Serve directly from the pan. Enjoy! -Diana
