Heat oil in popcorn pan (or heavy bottom large pan with tight-fitting lid). Add popcorn. Make sure to move the pan constantly as popcorn begins to pop, or popcorn will burn. Immediately after popping (when popping sounds really slow or pan is full), remove from heat, unless you like the burny ones like my dad. Pour into large bowl. Drizzle butter over popcorn, then salt to taste. Share and enjoy!
