Zanahorias Borrachas (Drunken Carrots)
Mexican Side Recipes
Ingredients:
1 lab carrots, peeled, sliced, parboiled 8 Tbsp butter, melted 4 Tbsp brown sugar 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp cloves 1/4 c tequila
Directions:
Arrange cooked carrot slices in a 1 1/2 qt baking pan. Mix melted butter wtih remaining ingredients. Pour over carrots, cover, bake 15 min in 325° oven.
