Spiced Ham Loaf


Ingredients:
1 3/4 c. milk 2 eggs 2 Tbsp. dark brown sugar 1 Tbsp. dry mustard 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 6 slices soft bread, diced 1/2" 1 1/2 lb. ground ham 1 lb. ground beef Apple cider sauce (recipe in this cookbook)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F Combine milk, eggs, brown sugar, dry mustard, salt and pepper in large mixing bowl. Blend well; shape a loaf. Place in a large loaf pan or onto a roasting pan. Bake until firm and lightly browned, about 90 minuutes. Meat should reach an internal temperature of 157-180°. Remove from oven; let stand 15 minutes to allow juices to settle before slicing. Slice and serve with warmed apple cider sauce.
