1 lb. fresh-trimmed asparagus
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Asparagus is one of the tastes of springtime - don't boil it to death, this easy oven-baked recipe is a snap!
Place asparagus on a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Dot with butter.
Bring edges of foil together and seal tightly; place foil packet on a baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender. Carefully open foil to allow steam to escape. (Seriously - be careful. Steam burns are no picnic!) Season with salt and pepper.
