1 lb. pork tenderloin
Marinade:
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. black bean sauce
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
1/2 tsp. chili sauce
1 Tbsp. rum
1 tsp. sesame oil
For Cooking:
2/3 c. boiling water
Directions:
These savory little slices of pork make a great appetizer with little rounds of French bread.Featured at the Year of the Rooster party. You will need: Time - pork needs to marinade.
Mix all marinade ingredients. Pour over pork, turning until well coated. Let stand 3-4 hours.
Arrange pork on a rack over a baking pan. The rack should keep the meat from touching the water. Place pan in preheated 350 F oven, pour in boiling water.
Roast about 30 min., or until done through. Check occasionally to make sure the liquid doesn't all cook away.
Slice thinly.
We served it with rounds of French bread.
