Hot Bacon Dressing More Recipes Like This

Ingredients: Metric Units
1/4 lb. bacon
1 egg
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
Cut bacon into small pieces. Sauté until crispy. Remove bacon from the grease and reserve. Add 1 /14 c. of water to the grease and bring to a boil. Beat egg, add flour and mix well. Mix vinegar and sugar. Add the egg mixture. Cool the bacon grease mixture with 1/2 cup of water. Slowly stir in the vinegar and sugar mixture. Stir constantly and bring to a slow boil. If the mixtuure is too thick, add water. Pour over prepared greens. Cover with bacon bits.
