2.5 cups vodka
3 tsp. vanilla extract
3 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. anise extract
4 drops yellow food coloring
2 cups water
2/3 cup sugar
Directions:
Mix vodka, vanilla, lemon juice, anise and yellow food coloring together in a bottle. Seal tightly and let sit for one week. Heat sugar and water together to make a sugar syrup. Add cooled syrup to vodka mixture and mix well. Seal tighly and store in a cool dark place for 2 weeks, shaking occasionally. Strain and put into small clear bottles. Enjoy! -Diana
P.S. The sugar sometimes crystallizes in the bottles - it looks really cool.
